Can I get support after business hours?

We’ll never leave you stranded. We have support options to help you find the answers you are looking for. First, check out the Simsol Support Center. It’s very likely someone has already answered your questions. You can also visit our YouTube channel for Simsol tutorials. If you can’t find a solution there, please email us support@simsol.com. It’s highly likely someone will get back to you within 24 hours.

Do you offer product training?

We do! Besides our vast library of free videos, guides, webinars, and the support center, you can visit us in sunny Orlando, Florida for in-class training. Visit our training page for more details.

Does Simsol run on Macs?

While we do have an iOS compatible app, Simsol’s Estimating Platform is designed to run on Windows OS. Some of our users have been able to run our software on iOS using products that emulate a Windows operating environment on a Mac. Our support team can’t do much to help with technical issues that arise from this type of setup because it does not comply with our license agreement.

What is the difference between registering a license over the phone vs. online?

Check out this infographic to see which one works best for you. Both licenses work exactly the same, the difference is how it’s paid and how the license is verified. 

Can I pay for Simsol by the day?

You sure can! If you’ve paid for at least one month of Simsol within the last ten years, you’re eligible for our $35/day rate which allows you access to Simsol until midnight of the day you call on. This will allow you to make changes to estimates without committing to another full month.

Do I need an internet connection to use Simsol?

We know first hand how hard it is to get a reliable internet connection in the field. For that reason, we’ve designed Simsol so you don’t have to be connected to write your claims. However, you may need it occasionally to update your license, send claims to claims management services, or to backup your files.
